The whole integrated system was installed by PT. SensorLink Yumitaro Indonesia. Their reputable track record for product knowledge, always offering the best products, and after-sales service has made them a credible company to work with. The following systems were installed at the seaports; (i) Public Address and Voice Evacuation System – Praesideo series, and (ii) Video Systems – Dinion and AutoDome CCTV cameras, and the Bosch Video Management System (BVMS).
The Praesido series consisting of speakers and microphones was installed to assist during an emergency evacuation in event of any danger or security issues.
The range of CCTV cameras installed at the pier was Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA)-enabled. IVA’s digital image processing system greatly improves security and safety. It offered a wide variety of advanced detection functions ranging from head detection to trajectory tracking. In addition, the AutoDome cameras are vandal-resistant and weatherproof, making them the perfect solution for the kind of environment.
The images captured by the CCTV cameras were then processed by the BVMS. The video systems played a crucial role in daily operations through the monitoring of all activities ongoing at the ports. The integrated security systems proved to be a cost-effective decision that enhanced overall productivity and quality of service of the ports.
